Joseph was sickly for most of his life. He stayed inside playing video games instead of playing with other kids, due to his sickness. Moving to Salt Lake didn’t change much.

Joseph escaped the city with his sister, Abigail and their cousin, Jake. After the teenagers left for the mountains, Joseph snuck away from the families, and even with his sickness found his older sister. The mountain air seemed to cure him. Becoming friends with a guy named Carlos, Joseph made it through so many of Yang’s games.

We respect Joseph today because of his bravery even when death was always imminent. He will forever be the youngest and bravest Agitator.
